Three days ago Kate Major was locked in a bedroom with her 1-year-old son, begging Twitter to save her from an angry, knife-wielding Michael Lohan trying to break down the door.
Now she’s changed her story to “Just kidding!”
“I made a lot of statements on Twitter that were merely out of fear that he was going to take my son from me,” Major tells US Weekly, adding the obligatory celebrity disclaimer “Please respect our privacy through this difficult time”.
Major deleted all the tweets referring to any sort of altercation and replaced them with just two:
- “I love Landon & nothing will ever change that or take that from me!!!!”
- “I should not have tweeted anything. This has all turned into a whirlwind. I’m sorry.”
Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised.
The police reported to the Lohan home during the incident but no one was removed or arrested and as far as we know no one has been charged with anything.
If they’d found him with a knife you would have expected more than that, especially considering Michael Lohan’s long history of legal troubles.
Or at least we hope they would take it seriously, since there’s a baby involved.
