February 14 will not mean chocolate, teddy bears and hand-holding for Justin Bieber. Not this year.
The South Florida legal system has set Valentine's Day as the singer's arraignment date.
He will answer to charges of DUI, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license on that date.
"Justin doesn't have to be there," says Ed Griffith, a Miami state attorney's office spokesman. "He will plead not guilty and the process will begin."
The 19-year old star is currently on vacation with friends (and Chantel Jeffries!) in Panama and will have his case heard by Miami-Dade Judge William Altfield in the County Criminal Division.
Bieber (along with R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff) were booked on Thursday after allegedly drag racing on a residential street, although new reports claim they weren't going THAT fast… nor were they legally drunk.
But those are issues for a court to decide.
In the meantime, Drake Bell and many others are giving Bieber something else to worry about: Might he get deported?!?
