Paging Christian Grey!
Emmy Rossum is using the steamy E.L. James novel 50 Shades of Grey as inspiration for her latest photo shoot.
“I was like, ‘What is going on right now?’ [The photographer] was like, ‘Pose in this dominatrix gear with these huge machines!’ and I was like, ‘Oh, God! This isn’t me at all!’” she told People.
“I think you just have to channel a character. You just have to use it as an acting exercise and channel your inner 50 Shades of Grey,” the Shameless actress admitted.
Not one to shy away from a little nudity (remember Emmy Rossum in Esquire?), she sports a bevy of racy looks for the stripped-down pics, including a black leather bra and thigh-high boots.
But don’t expect to see her rocking handcuffs and chains in her every day life.
“[My style is] modern, but still feminine. I favor things like this dress, which is a bit Marilyn Monroe, Seven Year Itch … but I try to keep it modern with a messy updo and a colored lip. I just have fun,” she says.
