Rita Ora has been cast in Fifty Shades of Grey, according to reports. She will play Mia, the adopted younger sister of Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan).

Ora confirmed the news on her Twitter Monday, announcing that she will play the role of Mia in the film adaptation of EL James’ sexy novel trilogy.

A 23-year-old, Albanian-born British singer, Ora is best known for her music career, including her album Ora and breakout hit single “Hot Right Now.”

She is most definitely that. Rita has been compared to Rihanna in the UK and is also known for her ugly breakup with Kim Kardashian‘s brother Rob.

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, a college student who falls for a mysterious and handsome billionaire.

That man, Jamie Dornan‘s Christian Grey, introduces her to a world of pain. In a good way, if you’re into that (which he is). We mean S&M activities.

Dornan was cast as Christian Grey after Charlie Hunnam, the first actor announced in the coveted lead role, got cold feet and dropped out of the film.

After over a year of speculation and a few months of turmoil and casting changes, production of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is finally underway.

Universal recently moved its release date for the movie all the way back to February 13, 2015, having originally hoped to have it out by next summer.

In any case, filming has begun, and all the supporting players are believed to be in place for a film that will no doubt rake in hundreds of millions.

The 50 Shades cast is rounded out by Eloise Mumford (Kate Kavanagh), Luke Grimes (Elliott Grey), Victor Rasuk, Jennifer Ehle and Max Martini.

Ora’s acting credits include a role in the 2004 film Spivs, and a cameo in Fast & Furious 6. She also has had a presence in the fashion world.

Known for her style as well as her talent, Rita was selected as the face Madonna’s “Material Girl” fashion line, and as the face of Rimmel for 2014.
