With the unexpected pregnancy already confirmed, Olivier Martinez came out yesterday and revealed he and Halle Berry are expecting a boy.
“My son will be an American, but I remain French,” Martinez told People in Paris.
Berry and Martinez are engaged but did not plan to start a family. Yet each side seems thrilled by the news.
The actor was talking to the press yesterday on the red carpet of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival (where Berry will join him today) and continued to joke about culture and his impending child.
“I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there – but I’m still a foreigner,” he said. “My son will be an American.”
