On last night’s American Idol performance show, Mariah Carey talked a little trash to Nicki Minaj, taunting her for never having a number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
And now the pop star has fired back at the legendary diva. HARD.
“Why a woman SO successful at her age, is still so INSECURE, and bitter,” Minaj Tweeted this afternoon, going on to reference the rumor that Fox was looking to replace Mariah with Jennifer Lopez.
“All dem #1s but JLo phone ringin? Lol. I guess having a personality, being a secure woman, and giving genuine critique still trumps that.”
Ooohh, snaps yo!
We’d say this is more contrived ratings bait… but continuing the show’s continual decline in popularity, that seems hard to believe.
