Is Lindsay Lohan about to lose her precious, precious Adderall in rehab?
Yes and no. The Betty Ford Center is allowing the troubled star to take it, which was a non-negotiable as far as her agreeing to check into the facility.
They reportedly think she doesn’t actually need the medication, though.
Lindsay has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and has a prescription for the drug. But the viability of that Rx is disputed.
Basically … she loves Adderall but it may not serve any real purpose.
Doctors at Betty Ford are currently evaluating Lindsay’s diagnosis and the efficacy of the drug. If they find it to be negligible, they may soon cut her off.
And she is already looking to flake on rehab, too. This could get ugly.
Despite being prescribed for ADHD, Adderall is often misused by lots of people, actresses in particular, who take it as a means of suppressing appetite.
On the bright side for Linds, at least she can smoke cigarettes.
