O.J. Simpson is back in the news thanks to his request for a new trial, and a woman who dated him for 12 years and somehow lived has resurfaced as well.
The Juice's ex-girlfriend Christie Prody recently told Inside Edition that he was "very charming," but often threatened her ... trade-offs, right?
O.J. also frequently likened her to his ex-wife, Nicole Brown.
Prody was 21 when she started dating the Simpson, then 46.
The ex-NFL star had just been acquitted of Brown's murder, but often compared his new girlfriend to the former wife he is widely believed to have slain.
“I was young and so he could try to shape me, mold me, into what he wanted," Christie Prody, now 38, alleged, adding that he tried to remake her look.
“It was very hard to deal with that everyday, comparing me to Nicole. ‘Nicole did this, Nicole did that. You should do this, that’s what she did,'” Prody said.
That was nothing, too, compared to threats he'd make. Prody says O.J. admitted the murders he was cleared of, basically, and implied she could be next.
“He would say things to me like, ‘You better watch out so something bad doesn’t happen to you like Nicole,'" she told the celebrity news program.
We think we can speak for most people in America when we encourage you to cross your fingers that this guy never again walks out of prison.
