It’s hard to imagine that Best Actress Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, one of if not the biggest stars in Hollywood right now, was bullied as a kid.

But it’s true, the 22-year-old says in a new interview.

“I changed schools a lot when I was in elementary school because some girls were mean,” the Louisville, Kentucky native admitted to The Sun.

Lawrence then recalled how in middle school, a girl gave her invitations to a birthday party to hand out to other students. JLaw was not invited.

This would crush many youngans, “But it was fine,” she retorted, in typical fashion. “I just hocked a loogie on them and threw them in the trash can.”

“Don’t worry about the bitches,” adds the Catching Fire star. “That could be a good motto, because you’ll come across people like that throughout your life.”

Clearly, Jennifer has had the last laugh.

The beloved 22-year-old has two mega-film franchises under her belt (The Hunger Games and X-Men), and an Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook.

She’s also as self-deprecating as she is successful.

“I’m one of the most untalented people. Literally, acting is the only thing I can do,” the Hollywood It Girl says. “I don’t know if I really know how to do that.”

“It’s ridiculous. I don’t think of myself as a star. I saw this guy recently who’s not even that famous, he’s just in an ad on TV, and I almost had a heart attack.”

“As for being a sex symbol, I don’t think of myself as sexy and, obviously, it’s not true. I’m going to try to push that out of my mind because it makes me queasy.”

How is it that every time she opens her mouth, we seem to love her more? We disagree with that last assessment of course, but it’s all part of her charm.
