Following a 28-18 loss to the Washington Redskins, Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys are once again looking at a dour offseason, as fans start to legitimately wonder:
Should #8 be under center when 2013 rolls around?
Hey, at least Tony Romo goes home to Candice Crawford.
Romo tossed a trio of interceptions last night, admitting he “let the team down” and adding to his woeful resume in critical games.
The signal-caller is 1-3 in the playoffs and has now concluded three seasons (2008, 2011, 2012) with brutal losses to division foes.
“Tony brings me to the same situation at the conclusion of every year,” said ex-Cowboy Deion Sanders after the latest loss. “Take a picture, this date, and see if we’re playing the same picture next year. We always think it’s going to get better, but it’s the same-old same-old.”
Romo, who dated Jessica Simpson for awhile until settling down with Crawford, hopes his resume will eventually include a Super Bowl title. He isn’t prepared to give up just yet.
“Your legacy will be written when you’re done playing the game,” Romo said. “And when it’s over with, you’ll look back.”
But will Dallas fans be looking forward to another year with Romo as the starting quarterback? Should he maintain that position?
