The movie’s two leads may not be on speaking terms, but that won’t stop the Breaking Dawn Part 2 promotional train for taking off as scheduled.
Amid questions over how the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart saga will affect marking – she cheated on him with Rupert Sanders; he’s gone into hiding and is considered a total mess – a spokesperson for Summit Entertainment has taken the unusual step of issuing a press release.
Says Nancy Kirkpatrick to Entertainment Weekly:
“While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November’s opening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. We are confident that the film delivers amazing entertainment for our passionate fans and general audience alike.”
Earlier this week, actress Christian Serratos said she can’t imagine the Robsten drama affects the film’s box office haul, but we’re not so sure.
Will you go see Breaking Dawn Part 2 despite this scandal?
