The 14th season of Dancing With the Stars, as evenly-matched as it is entertaining thus far, rolled into its fifth week Monday with the top nine going ALL out.

Last week, which saw a nasty head injury to Melissa Gilbert and the elimination of Sherri Shepherd, did not lack for drama. What would this week’s act bring?

A lot of strong performances from a group of engaging characters capable of some high quality dancing. for sure. They always leave you wanting more!

Sadly, someone must leave each week. Who will it be this time?

Coming into the fifth week, the favorites (Donald Driver, Maria Menounos, William Levy and Katherine Jenkins) looked to bolster their frontrunner status.

The remainder of the pack (Gilbert, Gavin DeGraw, Roshon Fegan, Jaleel White and Gladys Knight) looked to make a move. How did they do? Let’s find out …

Jenkins and Mark Ballas’ Argentine tango featured both “dancing and choreography of the highest quality,” according to Bruno, and was almost perfect – 29.

Len was the lone holdout as far as the 10 paddles go.

Levy and Cheryl Burke joined them at the top of the scoreboard with a similarly strong, enthusiastic and well-received bit. Donald Driver is two points back.

Maria and Derek Hough did everything they could to fuel rumors of an off-set romance, scoring 27 for their dance but a perfect 10 for their … wait … kiss!

Jaleel White came back a bit, ending with a solid 24, while Roshon Fegan hung tough with 26. At the bottom of the spectrum, the rest good be in danger.

Here’s how the leaderboard stacked up:

  • Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas: 29
  • William Levy & Cheryl Burke: 29
  • Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd: 27
  • Maria Menounos & Derek Hough: 27
  • Roshon Fegan & Chelsie Hightower: 26
  • Jaleel White & Kym Johnson: 24
  • Gladys Knight & Tristan MacManus: 22
  • Melissa Gilbert & Maks Chmerkovskiy: 21
  • Gavin DeGraw & Karina Smirnoff: 19

Who do you think is in jeopardy tonight? Is it the end of the road for Gavin? And who do you think will go on to win Dancing With the Stars?
