Kelly Clarkson has insisted for a long time now that she isn’t a lesbian, she’s just never been in love with a man.
And now, after gushing to a Toronto radio station on March 6 that she has a “new boyfriend,” Clarkson truly has the chance to put the gay chatter to rest.
Sources confirm to Us Weekly that the original American Idol is dating Brandon Blackstock, the 35-year old stepson of Reba McEntire and a Nashville-based talent manager. He’s also the son of Clarkson’s own manager.
“Before Brandon, Kelly had a really tough time with love,” an insider claims. “[Brandon] is just what she needed.”
