He’s thrown phones at people in fits of rage, and he once helped Martha Stewart murder a chicken.
But Russell Crowe is also one of the best actors of his generation, an Oscar winner and a multiple-time Best Actor nominee.
The native Australian was honored for those achievements yesterday, earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He posed at the event (below) with his family, wife Danielle and sons Charles and Tennyson, ages 6 and 3, respectively.
As for his next project, Crowe will star as Robin Hood. The film opens on May 14, but he must apologize to all female fans: the handsome actor won’t be donning any tights.
“They weren’t invented until quite a few hundred years after when the story takes place,” he said. “We start our story in 1199. Tights don’t come into play until the 1600s. I do apologize to those who will be disappointed that there are no tights.”
