When The Real Housewives of Atlanta starts shooting its third season this month, two new faces will be part of the cast.
While it’s unclear at the moment if they’ll be full-time members or just considered “friends” of Lisa Wu Hartwell, NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burruss when the new season premieres, Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey are coming on board the Bravo series.
Parks is an entertainment lawyer, while Bailey is a veteran model, part-time actress and co-owner of the Uptown Restaurant & Lounge in downtown Atlanta.
The contracts of all three original Housewives (Lisa, NeNe and Kim) expire after season three. Based on this casting decision, it seems unlikely they’ll all sign new deals with the network.
Leakes and Zolciak are the two most likely to leave, as rumors of their firing have persistened for months. Fortunately, Kim has a back-up plan if she isn’t invited back to the show next year:
Fake bisexuality. It’s worked for Tila Tequila, Aubrey O’Day and others.
