Sorry, Glee fans, but Adam Lambert is not coming on board this Fox series.
But a couple of other major names are likely to guest star on the 2010 Golden Globe winner for Best Comedy.
Executive producer Brad Falchuk has confirmed that Jennifer Lopez is in negotiations to appear this season as a cafeteria worker. Echoed creator Ryan Murphy:
“Lopez wants to do the show, so I’m going to meet with her. In the past couple of months, a lot of people are coming out saying they love the show… But I don’t want to stunt-cast too much, because I think the [musical] numbers are already so extravagant.”

Still, there’s no way Glee could turn down this opportunity:
Neil Patrick Harris is rumored to to star in a May sweeps episode directed by good friend Joss Whedon. The How I Met Your Mother star might be the most universally beloved figure on television these days.
His presence on Glee will only ratchet up the popularity of a show that’s already been renewed for a second season and whose creativity and uniqueness is unrivaled on the small screen.
As for J. Lo? As long as she continues to keep it real as Jenny from the Bronx block, we’ll be happy.
