For those reasons, we’re hesitant to officially announce that Russell Brand and Katy Perry have agreed to marry – but that’s exactly what Great Britain’s The Daily Mirror is reporting.
“Russell knows Katy’s the one for him,” an insider told the newspaper, saying Brand popped the question during a pre-Christmas ski trip. “He’s never been into a girl like he has with her and they’re besotted. He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes.”
Brand and Perry will tie the knot in 2010, the source claims.

“Katy’s thrilled with Russell and how he is making so much effort,” the insider said. “Russell also has the approval of Katy’s parents and everyone in the pair’s close circle knows about the engagement.”
