Scott Ruffalo, the hairdresser brother of actor Mark Ruffalo, died last night after suffering a gunshot wound to the head last week. He was 39.

Beverly Hills Police Sgt. Renato Moreno confirmed to the AP that Scott died late Monday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

He had been battling for his life at the hospital in critical condition for the past seven days after being shot in his own Beverly Hills apartment.

Two people thought to be involved in the attempted murder – presumably now murder – investigation, Brian Scofield and Shaha Mishaal Adham (below), have turned themselves in to the Beverly Hills Police Department as of yesterday.

Shaha Mishaal Adham, who police issued a warrant for yesterday afternoon, has officially been named a “suspect” while Brian Scofield is still being classified as a “person of interest” in the fatal shooting. He is being held on a traffic warrant.

Police so far have released no details on a possible motive for the shooting of Scott Ruffalo. More details as the story develops
