Verne Troyer has filed a $20 million lawsuit against one of the better known celebrity gossip websites on the Internet.
The Love Guru star says TMZ violated his rights by publishing and airing snippets of his sex tape.
The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in downtown L.A., as Troyer claims TMZ violated his privacy rights, while infringing on his copyright and trademark by running portions of the tape on TMZ TV and TMZ.com.
Verne Troyer says the sex tape was stolen, mysteriously ending up in the hands of Kevin Blatt, the dude that distributed “One Night in Paris.”
Here’s the problem with the lawsuit and accusation of video theft:
Ranae Shrider has been identified as the woman who willingly boinked Mini-Me on tape — and there’s a photo (taken before the release of her filmed tryst with Troyer) of her alongside Paris Hilton, the very woman that starred in “One Night in Paris” and has a relationship with Blatt.
