Spencer Pratt traveled to North Carolina last week with Ron Feemster, his good friend and the producer of his girlfriend Heidi Montag's upcoming album, to motivate students and donate money to the high school Feemster attended.
Ron Feemster, the 26-year-old producer also known as Neff-U, donated a generous $10,000 to Kings Mountain High School and handed out cash to some of its lucky students, including $1,000 to the student with the highest GPA.
In all, nearly $20,000 was distributed, the Charlotte Observer reports.
By far the most reviled member of The Hills cast, Spencer Pratt certainly did not look the part as he spoke to children at the Kings Mountain Family YMCA.
"He said it's important for the kids to be morally aware of what they're doing," Heather Wilson, the family coordinator there, told the paper.
As part of his visit, Spencer Pratt spoke of how "God has changed his life and how it's happened in the past two or three weeks," Wilson said.
Wilson said Spencer Pratt was "very inspirational" and "down to earth."
As for their relationship, Spencer and Heidi - a devout Bible reader who attends church regularly - are happier now that they are just dating and not engaged.
If they ever really were, that is.
Man. He loves his Nana, serves meals to the less fortunate on holidays, gives money to schools... who is this guy and what did he do with Spencer Pratt!?
