The Hollywood Gossip has learned that Amy Winehouse was rushed to the hospital this morning with exhaustion after some sort of incident.
Winehouse’s representative confirmed to TMZ that the hard-partying singer was taken to a London hospital and treated for what is described as severe “exhaustion.”
Amy Winehouse has since been discharged and is currently at home. She has been ordered to take “complete rest.”
When asked what prompted this, the rep said that a marathon lip-locking session with Blake Fielder-Civil was likely to blame.
Just kidding. Amy’s rep would only say “it came about quickly.” No other details are available at this time.
The singer’s grueling world tour schedule is most likely to blame. At least a little.
For now, “no, no, no” more shows for the ‘House. Really! They’ve been canceled!
It’s hard to say what “exhaustion” consists of, as it varies from case to case. To use recent examples, Dave Chappelle was just wicked tired, while Jennifer Garner was out too long in the withering heat. Lindsay Lohan‘s stomach sometimes has to be pumped after going to town on six different guys. You just never know.
