From the looks of it, former Miss California Candice Sanders might want to think twice about getting married – or engaged – again.
Before the beauty was engaged to maniac sportscaster Jim Lampley, she was married to another man – who wouldn’t sleep with her.
Last week, TMZ first reported that Sanders, the 2003 Miss California USA, accused sportscaster Lampley of drinking and repeatedly throwing her against a wall on New Year’s Eve and had him arrested.
Now, the site has obtained court documents that annulled Candice Sanders’ union to a Jehovah’s Witness, Marlon Muller – a man who actually refused to have “marital sexual relations” with her.
The papers, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court in May, charge that Muller committed “fraud” in the marriage because he wouldn’t give up his religion after their wedding and wouldn’t have sex with her.
And we thought Britney Spears had a strange love life. Seriously. T.H. Gossip does not mean to talk $h!t about religion, but what kind of faith prohibits one from doing one’s beauty queen wife? That makes TomKat and those crazy Scientology followers seem almost normal.
In the Sanders-Muller case, the court agreed with the beauty queen and annulled the marriage after just six months. Lampley, for his part, has denied all allegations, and hasn’t acknowledged that he is (or was) engaged to Candice Sanders.
Man, these beauty queens find their way into the craziest situations. In Sanders’ case, of course, it wasn’t really her fault. The same probably can’t be claimed by Tara Conner or Katie Rees. Speaking of which, have you seen the latest Katie Rees pictures? She’s surprisingly clothed.
