It appears Bichie is no more.
T.H. Gossip has learned that after two months of dating, Nicole Richie and Brody Jenner have called it quits.
Richie’s rep confirmed the break-up, stating that: “Nicole and Brody are no longer dating but remain close friends.”
A source says that Richie, who may or may not be hooked on crystal meth, initiated the breakup today at Jenner’s home in Malibu and that both agreed it was best to part ways.
“Nicole just wants to be single right now. She felt it was a mistake to jump into a relationship so soon after her breakup with AM,” says the source.
Richie and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein split in May of this year after a nine-month engagement. Prior to that, Richie and food split after a turbulent relationship back in 2002.
DJ AM has been rumored to be tagging Kristin Cavallari, who’s Jenner’s ex, but that’s neither here nor there at this point.
In order to clear the air, Nicole posted the following message on her MySpace page on Wednesday:
“Relationship? I know there are rumors regarding my ‘breakup’ with Brody Jenner. The truth is, we were never really together. We hung out, and he’s a nice guy, but my heart was never in it. Anything further is just a cry for publicity.”
That’s not what Richie’s rep said last night when she confirmed the break-up of the relationship. But hey, what do we care. All we know is that Brody could be hitting Lauren Conrad right about now, and we really hope that he is. Because that is a F-I-N-E woman, and because it would create serious drama.
