Thanks to reality TV – and many years of wonder – a pair of semi-famous couples have entered the celebrity baby boom.

First, the duo that ice skated its way into America’s hearts on Skating with Celebrities annouced its expecting a child on Valentine’s Day.

We speak, of course, about actress Kristy Swanson and Olympic skater Lloyd Eisler.

The two met last summer on the Fox TV series, won the competition, began dating in December and have no comment on whether or not they could defeat The Pussycat Dolls on the ice.

It will be the first child for Swanson, the star of such movies as The Chase and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Eisler has two sons, ages 8 months and two years.

Meanwhile, Americans everywhere feels about 97 years olders today after Wonder Years star Fred Savage and his wife, Jennifer Lynn Stone, welcomed their first child into the world.

The baby boy was born Saturday night in Los Angeles, weighing in at 6 lbs., 13 oz. and measuring 20 inches long.

The couple, who have yet to name their son, “are absolutely thrilled,” Savage’s agent told People magazine. We’re sorry to break it to the couple, but the names Apple and Moses are already taken.

Peach Cobbler and Abraham are still available, however.

We somehow doubt Winnie Cooper feels the same way.
