Sean Penn Rips "The Whole F--king World" For Abandoning Haiti
Sean Penn isn't a fan of us right now. Or you, or anyone else.
On Friday at the Cannes Film Festival, the actor-activist slammed the media and public for abandoning Haiti after the devastating earthquake in 2010.
"It's not only celebrities who went for a day," Penn told reporters of his perceived injustice. "It's the whole f--king world. It's all of you. The reason we have 'Haiti fatigue' is because there was never a commitment in the first place."
A vocal proponent of humanitarian aid, Penn also called upon President Barack Obama to meet with Haiti's newly elected president Michel Joseph Martelly.
"It's time our elegant, formidable president stood side by side [with Martelly]," he said.
The outspoken actor was part of a news conference with Petra Nemcova and director Paul Haggis, all of whom work with nonprofit organizations in Haiti.
The trio joined forces for a benefit for the country at the famed cinema gathering.

Sean Penn Labels Tea Party Members Racists Who Want to "Lynch" President Obama
Sean Penn channeled his inner Morgan Freeman this week.
The actor raised eyebrows by calling Tea Party members a bunch of racists, drawing a stinging rebuke from the national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots.
Penn referred to Tea Partiers as the “Get the N-Word Out of the White House Party” on Piers Morgan Tonight, saying its members want to "lynch" President Obama.
That sentiment and word choice did not sit well with many.
Said Mark Meckler, co-founder and national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots:
“I’m fairly certain that Sean Penn has never been to a tea party or met anyone who belongs to a local tea party. I’d be happy to sit down and speak with him if he’s ever interested in really speaking with one of us and learning what we are about instead of just slandering millions of his fellow American citizens with racist hatred."
"While protected by the 1st Amendment, this rhetoric has no place in reasonable discourse in America. Then again, no one ever accused Sean Penn of ‘reasonable discourse.’”
We know where Herman Cain stands on this, but what about you?
Is the Tea Party racist?

Ozzie Guillen on Sean Penn: What a Loser!
Ozzie Guillen, the manager of the Chicago White Sox, is none too pleased with Sean Penn and his support for Hugo Chavez. Yes, this is a real story.
The Oscar-winner's controversial and public defense of the Venezuelan president on Real Time With Bill Maher apparently struck a chord with Guillen.
A Venezuelan-American former baseball player who, like Penn, is never afraid to speak his mind, wasn't pleased, tweeting that Penn is "very crazy."

He later challenged Penn, on Twitter, to move to the South American country "to see how long you last clown." But Ozzie didn't even stop there.
In an interview on In Depth With Graham Bensinger, Guillen said of the actor, "He is a loser...When you say our country is in good shape when it's not."
"Who are you to talk about Venezuela?"
A fair point. One Guillen suggested he make in person, inviting Penn to visit Venezuela with him: "I invite him to go to Venezuela with me, and I'll say, 'This is Venezuela, bro. Here it is, this Venezuela, not the one they show you.'"
Your move, Sean.
Sean Penn: Dating Garcelle Beauvais Now?
Has Sean Penn already moved on from his split from Scarlett Johansson?
Reports say the actor was seen having dinner with Franklin & Bash actress Garcelle Beauvais the other night at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles.
When asked, Penn's rep did not comment on the possible new pair, while Beauvais' representative would not comment on the actress' private life.
Sean Penn and Garcelle Beauvais: New couple alert?
Romantic connection or not, the two do have one interesting thing in common.
Beauvais was born in Haiti and lost an aunt in the 2009 earthquake. The actress did a short film on the tragedy called Eyes to See which helped in raising money for Haiti and her family has been very active in the relief effort.
Penn's humanitarian work in Haiti has been widely documented and lauded.
Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn: It's Over!
The rebound is over. Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn are no longer dating, sources report. The couple had been together for several months.
Speculation about the pair began after Johansson did not attend the Cannes Film Festival with Penn, who was promoting his movie The Tree of Life.
Scarlett, who also just split with husband Ryan Reynolds, has been working on The Avengers in New Mexico, reprising her Iron Man 2 role.
It was an unexpected coupling from the get-go.
Johansson, 26, and Penn, 50, made headlines when they took a whirlwind trip to Cabo San Lucas after being spotted getting flirty in Los Angeles.
The pair attended a White House Correspondents' Dinner party in Washington D.C. in April and had been spotted in a series of outings in L.A.
It probably wasn't meant to last, though. We wish them both the best.

Scarlett Johansson: Moving in With Sean Penn?!
Just three months into their surprising romance, is Scarlett Johansson already moving into the Malibu home of actor beau Sean Penn? Us says yes.
Relocating from temporary digs at a West Hollywood hotel, the recently separated 26-year-old "has essentially moved in over the last few weeks."
Scarlett and Sean Penn, 50, now share the same roof after months of furtive sightings in Hollywood, Mexico and beyond. Sources say it's serious ...
The pair "just stay home" whenever they can, says a source.
That means eating in and hanging with Penn's kids with ex-wife Robin Wright, who aren't much younger than she: daughter Dylan, 20, and son Hopper, 17.
While it was surprising enough that Johansson rebounded from her December split from Ryan Reynolds with Penn, no one expected it to move this fast.
That being said, whatever makes the new couple happy. Maybe she needed a more mature guy and a dramatic change in her life? Is that so wrong?

Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn: Getting Serious Already?
Are Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn not only dating, but getting serious? According to reports, yes, after a short-but-romantic vacation getaway to Mexico.
"She thinks Sean is amazing," says a friend of ScarJo's to PopEater.
"Sure, he's an incredible actor, but there's depth. He's an amazing human being who cares about politics and the world. If she didn't have to return to work she would still be with him. She doesn't care about the age difference."
In fact, sources say Penn's age and maturity is what appeals to her.
Sources say after being married to someone "as childish as Ryan," it's nice to be with someone mature. Wow, that's quite a diss of Ryan Reynolds.
The pair were first spotted together four weeks ago at a party in L.A. celebrating Black Swan, and later seen eating together in public pre-vacation.
Both camps are mum on the budding courtship, but there are fresh reports that they planning might be a trip to Haiti together later this spring.
Penn's passion for humanitarian causes is another selling point.
"He's exactly the kind of guy she wants," the friend says. "They talk every day and can't wait until she has a break so she can run away with him."
Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn: New Couple Alert?!?
See, people, helping those less fortunate does pay off...
Sources confirm to Us Weekly that jaw-dropping beauty Scarlett Johansson is dating legendary actor Sean Penn, with the initial spark between the pair going off due to the latter's humanitarian efforts in Haiti.
"Scarlett first reached out to Sean when she was planning to visit Haiti with Oxfam," says a source. "She knew Sean was living there in a tent and turned to him for advice."
Describing the actress as "smitten" with the Oscar winner, this insider says the pair - who are 24 years apart in age - first hooked up last month when Johansson was staying at the Chateau Marmont and filming We Bought a Zoo.
Both stars split from their spouses over the last year. Penn called it quits with Robin Wright in August, while Scarlett and Ryan Reynolds divorced in December.
UPDATE: Says the actress' rep: "Scarlett and Sean are not dating - they have been friends for years. Nothing more, nothing less. They have been talking over the last few months regarding Haiti Relief and Scarlett's upcoming trip to Haiti as Oxfam's Global Ambassador."
Wyclef Jean Accuses Sean Penn of Cocaine Use, Makes a Fool of Himself
Wyclef Jean saw his hopes to be President of Haiti dashed last month, when officials ruled the artist ineligible for the position.
You'd think the singer would, therefore, concentrate his efforts on other ways in which he could help his native country. Instead, he's chosen to focus on a petty feud with Sean Penn.
At a concert in New York City on Friday, Wyclef remixed his 2004 single "President," as seen below, and included these lyrics: I got a message for Sean Penn/ Maybe he ain’t see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine.
The immature insult is a response to Penn's reasonable questioning of just how involved Jean has actually been in Haiti's recovery process from this year's fatal earthquake.
In a statement issued through his rep, the Oscar winner replied:
