Amanda Bynes is at it again on Twitter, this time slamming Jenny McCarthy of all people after the Playboy legend expressed genuine concern for her.

Last night, Jenny heard from an unreliable source (Jonathan Jaxson) on Twitter that police were knocking down Amanda's door in fear for her life.

After passing along the rumor - which no reliable site, THG included, even bothered running - out of true concern for Bynes, Amanda let her have it:

"I need help?" she Tweeted at Jenny. What are u talking about? Aren't u 50 years old? I'm 27, u look 80 compared to me! Why are you talking about me?"

"You're ugly! Police weren't at my house old lady! Shut the f–k up!"

Jenny McCarthy is standing up for cousin Melissa McCarthy... by lashing out at movie critic Rex Reed.

The New York Observer writer found himself in scalding hot water last week after he trashed Melissa McCarthy in a review of Identity Thief, referring to the actress as overweight and "tractor-sized."

Reed said Melissa is a "gimmick comedian who has devoted her short career to being obese and obnoxious with equal success."

"I sadly have the same thought that my parents say every birthday which is, I don't feel that old," she says of the big 4-0. "So, I have decided to make my mindset 40 is the new 15."

"Okay, fine... the new 22."

The Playboy cover girl's ideal present on this first day of November? "Bradley Cooper in my shower right now would be a pretty awesome birthday gift," she writes.

Jenny McCarthy and Brian Urlacher have broken up.

The Playboy model and Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher kept a low profile during their relationship, but she confirmed the split herself today.

"Brian and I have decided to turn our romance into an amazing friendship," she said. "I will continue to be the biggest cheerleader for him. Go, Bears!"

McCarthy, 39, played coy when reporters questioned her about her relationship in April, around the time romance rumors with Urlacher, 34, first began.

She said simply, "I'm giddy about someone."

The following month, she acknowledged, "I can confirm that yes, it's true, we are dating," but would only continue with, "Go, Bears – that's all I'll say."

Here's wishing both the best in their future professional and romantic endeavors. Couple of good catches back on the market at least.

The 39-year-old's Playboy cover, showing her in all her old Hollywood glory, dropped last week. Since then, a few more pictures have been released.

Let's just say she's "still got it," to borrow the unofficial tagline of the much buzzed-about spread. Here's another tease of what's to come ...

Jenny recently remarked that she wanted to pose for the men's magazine that made her famous one last time "before things really start to fall apart." As if.

For 40, or almost 40, she's looking pretty darn good.

Hopefully Hef brings her back for another spread around the time of her 50th birthday. Hey, if you've got it, flaunt it, right? Who says sexy is reserved for 20-year-olds.

"Good for her," Kendra, who's posed for her share of Playboy spreads and starred on Hugh Hefner's TV shows. "She definitely has it, why not flaunt it?"

Jenny McCarthy, the 1993 Playmate of the Year, returns to nude form on the cover of the July/August double issue, which hits newsstands this week.

The cover, featuring Jenny McCarthy nude, is already out.

"She looks great," the Kendra on Top star said at Las Vegas' Pure Nightclub. "If that gives her confidence at almost 40 years old, why not do it?"

McCarthy has maintained humor about her Playboy return, recently saying she wanted to pose once more "before everything really falls apart."
