A story about DMX that does not begin or end with DMX getting arrested is noteworthy enough, but a story about DMX flipping out on an amusement park ride?

Not 'cause he's drunk, high, in an argument or getting arrested (we covered that), but just 'cause he's bat$h!t crazy scared of the thing like anyone else?

It's everything. This video is everything.

X was at an Orlando theme park and thought he was gonna give it 2 The Slingshot, but the ride was a ruff one for the ryders on this summer afternoon.

At first, the rapper tries to get himself and his buddy HYPED by repeatedly yelling and saying “it’s some scary $h!t” ... and then the thing actually starts.

Screaming, yelling, cursing and holding on for dear life, DMX was counting down the seconds until the ride came to a stop and he could light up a blunt.

Really. He said he was going to do so.

George Zimmerman's controversial celebrity boxing match against DMX has been canceled amidst heavy criticism, according to the event's promoter.

Damon Feldman announced the fight's cancelation on Twitter on Saturday and apologized for offending anyone with this proposed clash of titans.

"The George Zimmerman fight is canceled," he wrote, adding "I'm sorry for anyone I hurt with this but this was a very big opportunity thank you."

Feldman said there's "more to life then money" and that he "just looked at my son and daughter today wow I'm so lucky those people must be in so much pain."

"All you people are right."

Give the guy credit for his conscience kicking in and pulling the plug on the Zimmerman-DMX fight ... but "those people" was probably not the best word choice.

DMX's wish has been granted. No, he will not have his mile-long criminal record expunged, nor will he return to his late '90s, Ruff Ryders rap glory.

He will, however, get to fight George Zimmerman in Celebrity Boxing!

The rapper has officially been named as Zimmerman's opponent in his upcoming match, Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman confirms.

Stop ... drop ... shut 'em down open up shop ... Ohhhh!

  • George Zimmerman Mugshot (Nov. 2013)
  • D M X Mugshot

Over 15,000 applicants expressed interest in battling Zimmerman once his interest in the boxing match was publicized. X was the fighter selected.

The trash talk began before he was even picked. DMX will beat the f--k out of Zimmerman, pull out his member and urinate on him after it's over, he boasts.

All we have to say to that is ... can we get this on pay-per-view?

George Zimmerman plans to join the ranks of celebrity boxing and is already on the hunt to find a famous opponent, according to reports. Seriously.

Promoter Damon Feldman is behind the celebrity boxing match, set to take place on March 1, though it's unclear who he will be duking it out with.

"Boxing isn't new to me," George told Radar Online in an article posted on the celebrity news site last week; he also linked to their story about his debut.

Zimmerman began boxing long before the February 2012 incident in which he killed Trayvon Martin and became a nationally notorious figure.

The case polarized the country around issues of racial justice, self defense and gun control; Zimmerman eventually walked after a jury acquitted him.

His plans to get in the ring are just the latest example of cashing in on his notoriety. A George Zimmerman painting recently sold for over $100,000 (seriously).

Rapper DMX has been arrested for what has to be at least the 15th time, this time outside a South Carolina airport for driving with a suspended license.

DMX (real name Earl Simmons) was also booked for driving without vehicle tags or insurance, according to the Spartanburg County Detention Center.

Airport police familiar with X and his lengthy arrest history stopped the rapper as he was driving up to the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.

The 42-year-old hip hopper spent a few hours in jail before posting a $1,335 bond on the charges, according to the Spartanburg County Detention Center.

He was booked at 6:27 p.m. local time after the latest in his numerous run-ins with cops in South Carolina and elsewhere, many of which involve driving.

DMX ran laps around a hotel naked in Detroit last weekend for reasons unknown.

Fortunately, there is security video that documents this, whatever the impetus:

The video, posted on TMZ, clearly shows X wearing boxer shorts with socks and hilariously, a house arrest ankle bracelet as he prepares to channel Usain Bolt.

As an employee removes room service trays from a nearby room, he takes off!

Dropping his shorts with a huge grin on his face, he bursts into a full-on sprint.

DMX was arrested in South Carolina last night, and craziness ensued as he called cops out on an alleged setup ... then had an asthma attack.

Police pulled over the car he was riding in for making an illegal U-turn, then found weed in the car and put the rapper in handcuffs. Standard.

Officers say there was a warrant out for DMX from a previous traffic violation (driving without a license) and told him he needed to go to jail.

That's when the accused became upset, and started ranting.

We hope you're sitting down for this. Rapper DMX was arrested early Friday.

This time, he was charged with driving under the influence in South Carolina.

DMX Mug Shot (November 2010)

Greenville County jail officials confirm that the 42-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arrested for DUI and driving without a valid license.

DMX was arrested last year in nearby Spartanburg County for suspicion of driving without a license. In that case, he was released after paying a fine.

Jail records show that he has already been released after his latest bust.

DMX is not happy with how he was portrayed on OWN Network's Iyanla: Fix My Life.

In fact, he wants to have the episode yanked from the air and says he may sue.

The rapper says he appeared with the understanding that the show would focus on his addiction to women, but instead it went in a different direction.

Namely, the oft-troubled Ruff Ryders rapper's drug abuse problems and its collateral damage, including his estranged relationship with his son.

Amazingly, this DMX story does not involve a mug shot. Seriously.

Just an awesome video of him crashing an Alicia Keys concert!

The crowd went nuts at Madison Square Garden when Swizz Beatz - Keys' husband - and DMX came out an unexpected rendition of the "Ruff Ryders Anthem."

Then, after they shut 'em down and opened up shop, the duo launched into "Party (Up in Here)" ... and it was enough to make people lose their minds. Up in here.
