When Debbie Rowe got engaged to music producer Marc Schaffel earlier this month, few knew the man's connection to her late ex-husband Michael Jackson.

Formerly the official videographer at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch, he was named as a co-conspirator in Jackson’s 2004 child molestation indictment.

The two men were so close that Jackson wrote a dedication to him in 2001’s Invincible, reading, “Marc Schaffel… Thank you for all your help. I love you.”

Their bond was such that despite Schaffel’s total lack of experience, Jackson handed him the reins to oversee his 9/11 single “What More Can I Give.”

As Schaffel’s relationship with Jackson came under the spotlight, however, gay porn director Paul Barresi took notice and revealed his own link to Schaffel.

Working under the name “Marc Frederics,” the man who would one day get engaged to Debbie Rowe directed dozens of gay porn videos in the 80s and 90s.

Debbie Rowe is predictably engrossed in a war of words with Michael Jackson's brothers, claiming they are no talent hacks who sponged off of him.

Rowe pretty much expected Jermaine, Randy, Tito and Jackie to attack her when word got out that she's seeking guardianship of Paris and Prince.

But Michael's brothers came out swinging, claiming Debbie Rowe took Michael's money and then ran away from her children and her responsibilities.

Rowe bristles at that allegation, insisting she never abandoned her kids and that Michael constantly called her for parenting help, which she provided.

Oh, and she says Michael often told her that his only sibling with any talent was Janet Jackson, while the others turned sponging off him into an art form.

Rowe, who would also like to become Blanket's guardian even though she's not his biological mother, is deeply fearful that the kids have no supervision.

Debbie Rowe is ready to fight for guardianship of Michael Jackson's children, believing the Jackson family "isn't connected with the kids or their lives."

Rowe, the mother of Prince Michael and Paris Jackson, will seek custody of both, and would gladly care for their brother Blanket as well if she could.

According to insiders, Debbie Rowe is very concerned about the environment in the Jackson home, even though she genuinely likes Katherine Jackson.

The kids' grandmother is in her 80s and too old to serve as guardian, she feels, while Michael's brothers are around the three and are terrible influences.

As for co-guardian T.J. Jackson (Kim Kardashian's first love), Rowe likes him too, but is worried that he's on tour and away from the kids for long stretches.

Among other things, she's complained Prince has developed a filthy mouth and is rebellious because no one is even trying to keep him in line anymore.

Debbie Rowe will marry her longtime friend Marc Schaffel, sources confirm. It will be the second marriage for Rowe, who was famously married to Michael Jackson.

Rowe had two kids while she was married to the King of Pop, Prince Michael Jackson and Paris Jackson. He adopted a third, Blanket (Prince II) later in life.

She and Marc Schaffel have been close for a long time, and initially, when gave her an engagement ring three weeks ago, she turned him down. Why?

Debbie Rowe has been going through some serious medical issues, and feared at the time that she had terminal cancer and wouldn't marry as a result.

However, Rowe received word from doctors this week that she actually has sarcoidosis, an auto-immune disease which is NOT cancer or life-threatening.

She then decided to say yes to Schaffel's proposal.

"He loves me, knows my kids, loves my kids and we'll see where this goes," Rowe says, noting that they have not set a date, but are definitely tying the knot.

Debbie Rowe and Paris have been posing together for the camera during their entire trip, and a series of adorable selfies have been making the rounds.

Rowe lost contact with Paris and her two brothers after she divorced Michael Jackson, but reconnected a little over a year ago following Paris' initiative.

Mother and daughter have since become extremely close.

Rowe speaks constantly with Paris, who is at a boarding school in Utah after her tragic suicide attempt and extended hospitalization in L.A. last year.

Debbie Rowe believes Dr. Conrad Murray is asking for an early demise at the hands of Michael Jackson fans, and she's not exactly broken up about it.

In fact, she says that after his latest stunt - talking about holding Michael's junk and trashing her in an interview with the Daily Mail - she'd buy the bullet.

Rowe is "disgusted" by Murray's remarks, alleging that Michael never slept with her and that he and MJ joked that they would never want to sleep with her.

Contacted for her reaction by TMZ, she did not hold back. At all.

Rowe believes that within 18 months, an irate Jackson fan "will shoot him dead, and I'd buy the bullet ... I wouldn't shoot him but I'd buy the bullet ... a hollow-point."

A hollow-point bullet is a particularly lethal type of ammunition.

Debbie Rowe is livid that someone sold photos of her troubled daughter, Paris Jackson, at the boarding school where she's been for the last month.

She plans to sue the people who did so, according to TMZ.

Someone at the school, located outside California, has not just sold pictures but information about the teenager, who had been going there on the DL.

But the photos plastered on Twitter, such as the one above, were taken during a graduation ceremony, shortly after Paris arrived, blowing her cover.

She's not even using her real name at the school.

Randy Jackson feels his niece, Paris Jackson, may be unreasonably confined in a psychiatric hospital, but her mother, Debbie Rowe, has a different take on it.

Rowe hit back after Jackson weighed in on Twitter, writing about Paris.

He wrote, "I just hate the fact that [Paris] will probably still be there, away from her family, on my brother's birthday." Randy adds, "She is not psychotic."

"There is no reason for her to be in a psychiatric hospital this long."

Debbie Rowe is livid at Randy, who she says has no clue what he's even talking about, and that Paris is not in a psychiatric hospital a la Amanda Bynes.

Debbie Rowe, the mother of Paris Jackson, wept while talking about her on the witness stand Thursday at the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial.

"Their father is dead," Debbie Rowe lamented.

"I almost lost my daughter! She is devastated. She tried to kill herself. She is devastated. She has no life. She doesn't feel she has a life anymore."

Paris, 15, attempted suicide in early June.

She is still being treated in a facility for her emotional problems, ones Rowe believes have left her a shell of her former self, and at a loss for everything.
