Chris Daughtry Debuts Twins
Chris Daughtry just posted a photo his newborn twins, and not only is the cuteness off the charts, they have more hair than he does. Enjoy it while it lasts, kids!
The American Idol standout-turned-rocker posted the below photo, with the caption "I'm SO in love," of the twins, on his Twitter earlier today. So precious.
The Daughtry twins, Adalynn Rose and Noah James, were born via surrogate last month and join Chris and wife Deanna's two other kids, Hannah and Griffin.
If that doesn't melt your heart ... check your pulse!
Chris Daughtry, Wife Welcome Twins!
It's a girl for Chris Daughtry and his wife Deanna ... AND a boy!
The American Idol star-turned rocker and his wife of 10 years welcomed fraternal twins on Wednesday morning, November 17, he announced via his website.
Daughter Adalynn Rose arrived at 11:06 a.m. weighing 6 lbs., 5 oz., while son Noah James followed at 11:25 a.m. weighing in at 5 lbs., 5 oz. Congratulations!
Chris and Deanna Daughtry's family just got a lot bigger!
"Our family is overwhelmed with joy by these two precious gifts from God," Chris said. "The babies are both healthy and resting. Thanks to everyone for their love."
Conceived through gestational surrogacy, the twins will join siblings Hannah, from Deanna's previous marriage, and Griffin, who the couple adopted, at home.
Chris Daughtry, Wife Expecting Twins!
Chris Daughtry and his wife, Deanna, are expecting twins this November!
The former American Idol star announced the news on his website Monday.
"Deanna and I are overjoyed about this double blessing," said the Season 5 finalist and hugely successful Daughtry frontman. "Thank you for your expressions of love and support and for respecting for our privacy during this special time."
Chris and Deanna Daughtry will be parents twice more.
The singer detailed their protracted struggle to get pregnant. Due to Deanna's partial hysterectomy in 2006, the couple used IVF and had their embryos transferred to a gestational surrogate. Deanna, 36, is six years older than Chris.
The couple, who wed in November 2001, are also parents to Hannah, 13, from a prior relationship of Deanna's, and Griffin, 11. Congratulations to the family!
Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry Dominate AMAs
The surly Simon Cowell may not have been personally on hand at L.A.'s Nokia theater Sunday night, but the American Idol judge would have been proud of a pair of his proteges at the 35th Annual American Music Awards.
Straight off her three wins at the Country Music Association Awards earlier this month, Carrie Underwood picked up three more trophies last night.
"This is one heck of a night," she gushed, looking genuinely happy (and not to mention gorgeous) accepting the award for favorite country album.
She also won favorite country female artist and an audience text-in award for favorite artist. And, ever the Southern belle, Carrie Underwood was overheard saying "holy cow" as her name was read for the second time.
Chris Daughtry, another nominated American Idol, joined his eponymous band, Daughtry, at the podium three times as it won favorite pop-rock album for Daughtry, as well as breakthrough artist and adult contemporary artist.
"Wow. I can't believe we're in the category with Justin Timberlake and Linkin Park. It's pretty awesome," Chris Daughtry said.

Carrie Underwood: A big winner once again.Â
Some of night's other winners included Akon (soul/R&B male), Rihanna (soul/R&B female), and Justin Timberlake (pop/rock male and soul/R&B album), who accepted his awards via satellite from Australia, where he is on tour.
While host Jimmy Kimmel's dancing and ad-libbing left a lot to be desired, the performance by Chris Brown and his dancers to "Kiss Kiss" - a literal high-wire act with hip-hop versions of Tron-style suits - left many speechless.
Likewise, Beyonce (another winner on the evening) and Sugarland's countrified version of her smash hit "Irreplaceable" had the crowd on its feet.
On a serious and sad note, Usher, Kid Rock and Rihanna took time to send their condolences Kanye West, who is grieving over the loss of his mother, Donda West, whose funeral is set for Tuesday in Oklahoma City.
