After a two-hour (!) episode and surprisingly potent efforts by both Trace Adkins and Penn Jillette, an all-star champion was finally crowned on Celebrity Apprentice.

Both were worthy, but there can be only one winner.

And that winner, ladies and gentlemen, is ...

Trace Adkins! Penn Jillette was fired by Donald Trump, though the choice didn’t just come down to money, even though Trace raised more than Penn.

Instead, it was a mixture of success at the final task, in addition to other traits. As Penn told Trace, one of them had to win, and it wouldn’t be by much.

Lisa Rinna and Lil Jon have gotten fired on Celebrity Apprentice, leaving Penn Jillette and Trace Adkins to vie for the title on next Sunday's gripping finale.

The two didn't even get to take part in the usual BS job interview. They were simply dispatched by Donald Trump before being reassigned to Penn and Trace.

And so it all comes down to an epic conclusion next weekend.

For their last task, the finalists were tasked with designing a new ice cream flavor, plus an accompanying commercial and VIP party for Walgreens.

Trace was given the support group of Lil Jon, Marilu Henner, and a mechanical dog; Penn received help from Lisa Rinna, La Toya Jackson, and Dennis Rodman.

Are you pleased with who made the final two? Who got the better team, Trace or Penn, and will it matter? Who should and will win in next week’s finale?

Last night's episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice was the ultimate TV chess match.

By that, we mean that one of the teams played chess at a party. That's pretty much it.

Tasked with transforming a suite at Barclay's Center into a party for Foxwoods, Team Power (led Marilu Henner) squared off against Plan B (run by Lisa Rinna).

After heading up a party that featured a King theme, an actual throne and a guy playing chess, Marilu Henner's team lost and she paid the price for it.

Donald Trump, took time out from calling Jon Stewart a phony to resume hosting duties, fired Marilu at the end, but only after asking the following:

“Lil Jon, what is crunk?”

Questions for the ages.

Gary Busey has never been good at his job, but Donald Trump has always seemed to keep him around on Celebrity Apprentice for entertainment value.

There's nothing wrong with that, but even Trump has a threshold.

Sunday, as Project Manager, Gary turned his team's video into a story of a man who needs an LG phone to keep him from transforming into a barking mechanical dog.

Do we really need to go on?

It also featured human Gary Busey being married to a woman who was about the same age as their daughter, and even Trump couldn't take it anymore.

With Busey gone, the All-Star Celebrity Apprentice cast is down to Trace Adkins, Penn Jillette, Marilu Henner, Lisa Rinna and Lil Jon ... YEAH!

Which of the five do you think will bring home the prize this season?

And what do you think of Gary Busey getting fired? Right call?

This week on Celebrity Apprentice, the teams were tasked with creating an interactive experience that perfectly captured the atmosphere of South Africa.

Can you ever see these people tasked with that in real life?

In any case, Plan B (Penn, Lisa, and Gary) handled the "Romance" angle, while Team Power had an "Adventure" of their own ... and Brande Roderick got the chop.

Donald Trump felt that Lil Jon should have been taken to task for setting team team on a creative path that proved their downfall, but it was not the case.

Brande ended up rescuing poor Lil Jon - YEAH! - despite his third-grade style art project and basically put herself in the crosshairs instead. Oh well.

Somewhere, Kim Jong Un is threatening to nuke Trump Tower.

Dennis Rodman got fired on All-Star Celebrity Apprentice last night, even though Trump was the big story ... Melania Trump, that is. She is very beautiful.

So we were told, a lot. And it's certainly true.

The celebrities (term used loosely) were tasked with coming up with a presentation for Melania Caviar Complexe C6, her unfortunately titled skin care line.

Dennis Rodman got the chop because, as Project Manager, he spelled Melania’s name as “Milania” on his team's ad. That's like an automatic pink skip.

At least Omarosa has more time to focus on suing La Toya Jackson now.

The infamous, always-erratic reality star got the chop in Donald Trump's boardroom, the very same place where she became a "star" many seasons ago.

Last night's episode of Celebrity Apprentice: All-Stars involved the cast members creating actual artwork and raising money by selling it off to the highest bidder.

When Lil Jon's team lost, he took Omarosa down with him.

On Sunday night, La Toya Jackson was fired from Celebrity Apprentice.

But it's what the sister of Michael said after Donald Trump let her go that may get her in serious legal trouble.

Referring to Omarosa Manigault, Jackson went off, actually calling out the contestant for the death of her late fiance, Michael Clarke Duncan.

"She’s a conniving, scheming, cut-throat, probably pulled the cord on Michael Clarke Duncan," LaToya said. "And I thought Mr. Trump was falling for that fake cry. Such a lie."

After Bret Michaels' meltdown and Dee Snider's exit, Sunday's episode of Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars proved the most dramatic of the new season so far.

Their task was to create a five-minute soap opera for Crystal Light, with La Toya Jackson and Stephen Baldwin becoming dueling project managers.

Jackson clashed with Omarosa from the start, and tensions rose throughout the night, the point where MJ's sister dealt a serious low blow, saying:

"Omarosa is the most evil person I've ever met. She's a no good, conniving scheming, cut-throat, probably pulled the cord on Michael Duncan Clarke."

Not at all called for, Toya. Or correct, for that matter.

The contestants flew Trump’s private jet down to Orlando for this week’s task, which was to create a 3D display for Universal Studios theme park.

Snider put himself in charge of this task, and didn't fare well.
