Robin Williams' daughter Zelda has returned to Twitter, refusing to be defined by the bullies who forced her off last month in the wake of her father's suicide.

Zelda Williams quit the social media site days following Robin's death August 13, but is now back. The 25-year-old tweeted "Thank you" on Monday.

What was the younger Williams thankful for?

Zelda and Robin Williams

A quote from Harvey Fierstein, which reads: "Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself."

Some words to live by right there.

Zelda previously announced that she would be leaving Twitter and Instagram after she encountered some negativity about Robin. She wrote on Instagram:

Retired NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, rapper Waka Flocka Flame and current NBA player Trey Burke are being sued by a man for mocking his appearance online.

Jahmel Binion Photo

Jahmel Binion suffers from a disorder called hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia, which causes limited hair growth, missing teeth, and facial deformities.

He posted a selfie on Instagram back in April, after which Shaq and Waka both reposted it with captions that were clearly making fun of his physical appearance.

How he's suing the trio, along with Burke, for bullying him, essentially.

Once Shaq found out about Jahmel's condition, he not only took down the post, he got in touch with Jahmel and apologized, according to reports.

He tweeted about that conversation: "Made a new friend today when I called and apologized to Jahmel Binion. Great dude. #alwayslearning #MYBADCUZ."

It wasn't enough for Jahmel, who filed a defamation suit against Shaq, Waka and Burke, who allegedly threw in his own insults over social media.

In the latest of several recent controversies surrounding Instagram, Samm Newman, a 19-year-old woman from Ohio, says her account was deleted.

Because, she is convinced, she posted selfies of herself in her bra and underwear, which plenty of people do ... but Samm happens to be a Size 24.

Samm Newman Photos

For Newman, Instagram had become a safe haven, an online environment in which to be proud of her fuller figure and find other women like her.

Posting photos to Instagram and seeing other girls displaying similar ones empowered her, and that support helped her be less ashamed of her size.

Considering that she spent her high school years bullied and depressed to the point of self-harm, this was a huge deal ... and then it came crashing down.

That safe space suddenly disappeared without explanation, and Samm could only assume her Instagram was targeted because of her Size 24 body.

"My Instagram, this was my safe place because when I was there, I could share anything," Samm Newman lamented. "Fat is not a bad word."

Carleigh O'Connell is our new hero.

The 14-year old was recently on the receiving end of bullying from her classmates, who spray-painted “Carleigh’s Ass” on a cement block for the entire town to see.

Did Carleigh let the graffiti get her down? Did she respond to it by holing up in her room? No, quite the opposite:

Carleigh snapped a photo while posing proudly with the graffiti, posting the picture on Facebook and asking her mom to do the same.

Awesome Facebook Response

"[Carleigh] decided that she was going to be stronger than hurtful words on the concrete and that she was going to be proud of her figure," the teen's mom wrote on Facebook.

"She also told me that she feels complete sympathy for the teenagers across the country who face this everyday."

"She understands and wants all of them to find strength inside to rise above the nastiness and be empowered by who you are, how you are made and what is in your heart."

Rihanna is accused of bullying one of her own fan after she posted a couple of photos of Alexis Carter that the 16-year-old is none too thrilled about.

  • Rihanna Bat Dress
  • Alexis Carter, Rihanna Fan

This began after Carter was inspired a Alexandre Vauthier jumpsuit Rihanna wore in 2010 decided to wear a similar one to her Hollywood-themed prom.

"I was like, 'Oh my God, I love this outfit. I wanna go with this outfit. Let me go show my mom!' And I was like, 'Mom, mom, mom, I wanna wear this!" Carter says.

"it's cool, I love it, oh my god,'" the student recalled saying.

So a family friend created the ensemble (above), which Carter loved and said received positive feedback in person. Soon enough, though, the bullying began.

Photos of her outfit began to circulate on social media. On Twitter, #PromBat trended, complete with altered photographs that mocked her jumpsuit.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Porsha Williams is apologizing to her co-stars and viewers for the fight that broke out on the show's reunion special two Sundays ago.

The reality star, who made headlines today by claiming ex-husband Kordell Stewart abused her, is opening up about a physical attack she committed.

"Throughout the season on Real Housewives I was manipulated and bullied and at the reunion taping when emotions were heightened," Williams says.

"I suffered severe bullying since I was a child, to the extent of contemplating suicide, and was physically and mentally abused during my marriage."

"I was pushed too far with objects waved in my face and my personal space was continuously violated, and I reacted in a way which I am not proud of."

On part one of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, Williams suddenly snapped after Kenya Moore waved a scepter and megaphone in her face.

A week after the hair-dragging heard around the world, the maligned Porsha Williams is breaking her silence about The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion fight.

The reality star is casting herself as the victim, not Kenya Moore ... despite the fact that she by all accounts PUNISHED Moore and got arrested for battery.

Her reasoning? Moore was doing the bullying.

"I had regrets immediately after," admits Porsha in an interview with Access Hollywood Live, but she says she was pushed to the brink by her nemesis:

"I saw the hate. I saw the anger. I saw all of that in Kenya's eye that moment. And I felt threatened, honestly I did, [the scepter] was a weapon."

That would be the prop Kenya Moore used to needle Porsha during the reunion, something Williams says she would never have done to a co-star:

"For Kenya, this as a job. It's a show to her; it's just entertainment. She doesn't take anything seriously. Here I am living this real life and here she is portraying one."

Williams argues, to that end, that she was bullied.

Demi Lovato will not be torn down by her haters. She made this clear as she defiantly advised her Twitter fans to choose kindness over cruelty this week.

This positive message came after she was bullied by an unoriginal, anonymous troll who called the pop star "fatty." Her response? Taking the high road.

Instead of attacking the user who called her "fatty," one of Demi's fans responded with a simple message: "you are beautiful." Lovato gave her a re-tweet.

Demi then added the following words of wisdom:

  • Dear Lovatics, for every hater tweet - don't respond with hate but love and positivity ... Try love instead of combat (lots of heart emoticons)
  • Dear haters, you don't have to like me cause I love you. Everyone's equal, everyone has a soul and everyone deserves to be loved. (more hearts)

She's all about promoting self-worth, isn't she?

After photos showing Alexa Ray Joel's stunning transformation hit the Internet, the singer-songwriter took to the web herself to address the rumors.

According to her, the alleged Alexa Ray Joel plastic surgery photos are nothing of the site. Chalk it up to makeup, a good bra ... and aging 15 YEARS.

Alexa R. Joel

The 28-year-old daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley actually posted a comment on Us in which she took bullies to task for their cruel remarks.

"This is absolutely hysterical!!! I was 13 years old in the pic posted as a 'before.' In this latter pic, I am 28 years old [that's the age I am now]," she wrote.

"I have lost weight simply from maturing, and I have fully contoured 'stage makeup' and hair done for my first debut show at the Carlyle Hotel in NYC."

"Obviously I'm going to look different. It's called 'growing up'! I have only gotten one nose-job done. That is the absolute extent of the surgeries I have had."

This video from 2013's Comic-Con went viral last weekend, and awesomely so.

It features a young girl asking former Star Trek: The Next Generation star Wil Wheaton, "When you were a kid, were you called a nerd, and how did you deal with it?"

His answer? We'll let Wil take it from here, but it'll make your day:

"When I was a little boy," Wil said, "I was called a nerd all the time because I didn't like sports, I loved to read, I liked math and science."

"I thought school was really cool, and it hurt, a lot."

"Because it's never OK when a person makes fun of you for something that you didn't choose. We didn't choose to be nerds."

"We can't help it that we like those things."
