Gwen Stefani has always wanted a girl. But two?!
When she found out that the sex of her third child was a boy, she posted an Instagram declaring herself the queen of the Rossdale-Stefani household.
Now, OK! Magazine believes that’s about to change.
She and boyfriend Blake Shelton are pregnant with twin girls, and OK! is so confident in this belief that they made it this week’s cover story.
“The buzz in their inner circle is that Gwen is four months pregnant, and that they’re expecting twins!” a source claims.
Stefani, 46, and Shelton, 40, “began researching fertility doctors and evaluating their options several months ago," according to the story.
Gwen, however, was able to conceive "naturally."
She’s apparently four months along, and when she told Shelton the news, he "teared up," then "lost it" when she told him it was twin girls.
With the babies due "around Christmas," OK! also claims that Shelton and Stefani already "wed in a supersecret ceremony."
Meanwhile, back in the real world, Stefani went on Howard Stern yesterday and revealed how her relationship with Shelton grew.
"[Blake] was the most unlikely situation to ever happen,” Stefani said.
“I didn’t know him, but I got to know him on the set."
"When I came back to the show, I had this huge weight on me," she explained, referring to her divorce from Gavin Rossdale.
After she found out he was sleeping with her childrens’ nanny, Gwen was left reeling, and a new romance was not on her radar.
At all.
"I wasn’t trying to start a relationship. I was just trying to not die. I think we started emailing here and there and then overtime [it became romantic].
With Blake in her life, "it was an incredible gift to be able to have a friend," she says, and soon enough, it became so much more than that.
Stefani’s rep confirmed that she and Shelton were officially a couple back in November, when the two were judges together on The Voice.
Since then, the seemingly mismatched pair has become the weekly target of wedding and pregnancy speculation, with no end in sight.
Just imagine if she actually were pregnant.
