Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally Split; Did He Cheat on Her?

by at .  Updated at . Comments

The View host Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally have thrown in the towel after nearly four years of marriage, with his alleged cheating cited in some reports.

Sherri recently told friends that her marriage with Lamar was “in trouble,” according to the New York Post, and a close family insider tells a similar story.

The UK’s Daily Mail claims his infidelity may have caused the split.

After their 2011 wedding, a report surfaced that Lamar was still close with an ex-girlfriend, and that he had even invited her to his wedding to Shepherd.

All without telling Sherri that she was a former lover of his.

Shepherd and her first husband, Jeff Tarpley, divorced in 2009 when she found out that he was having an affair and that his mistress was pregnant.

They had been married for eight years at the time.

Whether the cheating reports are true or not, it looks like this is over for good. The talk show host will keep living in NYC, but her ex has moved to L.A.

In 2013, Sherri opened up on the Tom Joyner Morning Show about her desire to have children with Lamar, and revealed that they were considering a surrogate.

“We found a girl that didn’t have any drama in her life. We’re putting in our egg and Sal’s sperm and we’ll see how it progresses,” Sherri said at the time.

Looks like it didn't take, for better or worse ...

I am sorry to hear that Sheri's marriage is in trouble - why would he want full custody of their unborn child if he was the one cheating - and why would Sheri have to pay support - doesn't make any sense to me

Say What!!
Are we being told that the hostess of those ohh so personal questions on
"The Newlywed Game" is having trouble in her own loveNest?? Could it be possible that dig deep Sherri Sheppard is the last 2 know of the scandal brewing in her own marriage while being paid handsomely to question the everyday tidbits of others couples' love connections!!

@ Leo

& your point is? It's called "jobs" she has more than one. I doubt a requirement of hosting the newlywed game was to be happily married. Get a life!!!
