Very well done, Nicki Minaj.
This artist made the dream of a five-year old come true last week when she visited with a young cancer patient named Miyah.
After hearing from Washington Wizards point guard John Wall that Miyah - who was diagnosed last year with Stage 3B Burkitt’s lymphoma and who has undergone seven chemotherapy treatments already - Minaj invited the brave tyke to a recording studio in New York City.
Once there, Minaj gifte Miyah with a trademark pink wig and later wrote to her on Instagram:
"I’m so happy that you got your pink wig. I think you’re beautiful without the pink wig, OK? But whenever you want to play dress-up and feel like a little Barbie doll that’s fine. But remember you promised me that you were going to stay in school."
Nicki is just the latest celebrity to dedicate time to the needs of a child cancer patient.
Last week, Channing Tatum sent a virtual kiss to a teenager girl diagnosed with this same disease; and, on two recent occasions, Taylor Swift has spent hours in the children's wing of hospitals in NYC and Rhode Island.
Here is a photo gallery of Swift being awesome and making the dreams of these young folks into a reality:
