Jacquie Lee, the youngest performer on The Voice this season, may also be the best. She wowed viewers and coaches alike with her live debut last night.
The 16-year-old New Jersey high school student delivered an electrifying version of Nina Simone's "I Put a Spell on You," leaving her mentor near tears.
Christina Aguilera, who is not easily impressed, stood on chair at the end of Lee's amazing performance to applaud her young protege. Here's Jacquie:
The jaw-dropping performance also stunned Xtina's rival coach Cee Lo Green.
"Oh my God, Jacquie. Damn," he said once the roaring crowd quieted. "That was the absolute best. [It's] like the past and the present and you are most certainly the future."
Adam Levine agreed, quipping to the teenager, "You've done the unthinkable: You made Cee Lo a vicious competitor," he said. "You pissed him off, which is shocking."
What do you think? Does she have what it takes to win The Voice?
