Charlie Sheen has asked a judge to cancel his child support obligations to ex-wife Brooke Mueller, for a very logical reason in the actor’s eyes:
Mueller is not supporting any children!
With Mueller once again in rehab (following a psychiatric episode in which she alleged connections to the mafia and FBI), Sheen sees no reason to be paying her $55,000 per month.
The estranged couple’s twins, Bob and Max, have been living with Charlie’s other ex, Denise Richards, for two months now.
And Sheen is not looking to leave the kids hanging. Sources confirm to TMZ that he’s happy to fork over the same monthly payments to Richards… but she has thus far refused the offer.
The relationship between Charlie and Denise is apparently better than ever, with the latter bringing the twins by the former’s Anger Management set, something that caused Mueller to blow up at one point last year.
But Brooke needs to focus on simply getting better before she can resume her weekly feuding with Sheen. For the sake of the toddlers, let’s hope she accomplishes that goal.
