Do not mess with Pink.
Do not accuse her of faking sick to get out of a concert performance, either.
Ever since she bailed on her April 22 show in Birmingham, England, certain "fans" have been harping on her excuse, which has not sat well with the singer.
In an open letter on her website, she said, "I am a human being, therefore I am able to catch an illness. It is beyond my control. I can't apologize for that."
"And you know what I've been performing through the last week? ROTA virus. Look it up. I challenge any one of you to do what I do while sick with that."
"You couldn't do it."
We actually did, and it sounds pretty bad. The kind of all-encompassing flu-like debilitation that would render any job difficult, let along her rock stardom.
Also, have you seen Pink and some of the shows the woman puts on?
No one, with the possible exception of Lady Gaga, can match her propensity for going all out every night (and Gaga badly hurt herself doing it, too).
Because she rules, Pink concludes her letter by apologizing to her "loyal and understanding fans" and adding, "I am so so sorry if I've hurt you in any way."
"For the rest of you," however, the self-proclaimed reformed slut instructs you to do the following: "Kindly kiss my entire almost back to healthy ass."
