Lil Wayne: Still in ICU, Still in Rough Shape
by Free Britney at . Updated at .Lil Wayne is still hospitalized and in rough shape, despite the assurances from his camp that reports of his medical scare Friday were greatly exaggerated.
Two days after being admitted to L.A..'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for seizures, Weezy was rushed back there Friday after a suspected drug overdose.
The 30-year-old has remained there ever since.
While Wayne's posse denied that his condition was as dire as TMZ initially reported - there was talk of the rapper being read his last rites, breathing through tubes and being placed into an induced coma - Weezy hasn't improved enough to be moved out of the ICU.
He continues to be monitored very closely.
Lil Wayne has been surrounded by friends and family since he was checked into to the ICU, and the mood around his bedside has been very serious.
Drake, Chris Paul, Nicki Minaj, Birdman and others have been with him, which tells you about the condition he's in. It may not be perilous, but it's not good.
Wayne's stomach was pumped at least three times after doctors suspected he OD'd on sizzurp, which consists heavily of the prescription drug codeine.
Weezy has used and struggled with the powerful painkiller for years, suggesting recently that he had quit (or was at least trying to kick the habit).
Hopefully if and when he bounces back, this will be the wakeup call he needs to get serious about cleaning up, for his own sake and his friends and family.

Even though I'm opposed to some of his rap lyrics, I do wish him a speedy recovery as well as rehab! Obviously he needs it.
To little Wayne & his family. God don't make mistake, but we do need to learn from them as they come. It is hard being in the light, but pick a path & stay to it because u do have love one. Change ur path do the music not the drugs. Those around u that is doing remove if they can't change. Love u & u & god can fixs anydam things.
