Holly Madison Defends Unusual Baby Name

Holly Madison gave birth to her first child last week, a baby girl named Rainbow Aurora Rotella.

With the Internet buzzing over such an unusual moniker, Madison took to her website yesterday and explained the name "Rainbow" was taken from a former classmate and:

“She was a perfectly normal, well-adjusted, sporty girl... so I’m not worried about my daughter being ‘traumatized’ by having an unusual name."

And all you haters out there? Who are bashing the baby name? You will just make Rainbow stronger in the end.

"I want my daughter to be proud of who she is and learn to speak up and stand up for herself at a young age,” Madison writes. “I spent most of my life being a people-pleaser who worried about what other people thought … and I don’t want that for her.”

    Hmmmm can't quite figure out if the name sounds like a Disney reject or a stripper. Either way...bad name. What do you bet the kid goes by Rain when she is older?
