Larry Bird's 21-year-old son Conner Bird was arrested by Indiana University police Sunday after allegedly attacking his girlfriend, according to reports.
According to campus police, the victim said Conner Bird threw a cell phone at her during an argument at his apartment, and it struck her in the wrist.
Good aim does run in his family.
Later that night, the woman says she got into Bird's car to go somewhere. At that point, they started arguing again and she got out of the car to walk home.
According to the girlfriend, that's when things got really out of hand and Bird began to chase her through the parking lot in his car, trying to run her over.
The woman says she got help from another person who happened to be in the parking lot and they quickly flagged down a campus police officer.
Conner was arrested for intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief, battery with injury, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
Indiana native Larry Bird, one of the NBA's all-time greatest players over 13 seasons with the Boston Celtics, is now the President of the Indiana Pacers.
Dad is not going to be pleased.
