Lisa D'Amato, America's Next Top Model Winner, Destroys Face in Freak Accident

Lisa D'Amato is recovering at the moment from a freak accident that left her face in horrific condition - and we've got the photographic evidence to prove it.

The America's Next Top Model All-Stars champion tells People was just "monkeying around" in her hotel room last week, doing a handstand against a crew member from the movie Cowboys and Indians, when she tumbled over and this was the result:

"It was a totally freak accident. It wasn't like we were doing back flips off the balcony," says D'Amato, who was rushed to the emergency room so a plastic surgeon could fix her nose.

"I didn't have the best nose in the world to begin with. It gave me character," she added. "Now I have a nice little nose job. I get a super cute nose."

D'Amato is recovering and says she will soon leave on a belated honeymoon with her husband of four months. And she's even working on a television pilot.

Let's hope she has someone else do her character's stunts.
