Jennifer Lawrence’s acceptance speech after winning Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical at Sunday night's Golden Globe awards did not sit well with some.
Why? Three words: "I beat Meryl!"
She did, in fact, beat Meryl Streep for the award, but she wasn't rubbing it in. Rather, she was quoting a line from the 1996 flick The First Wives Club.
J-Law - a nickname coined by Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig, who presented her the award - once again showed showcased her genuine and honest side.
Not to mention funny. The 22-year-old went on to thank producer Harvey Weinstein for "killing whoever he had to kill" to get her up there today.
She's also desirable. As in the Most Desirable Woman of 2012, according to at least one survey. See Jennifer Lawrence bikini photos and learn why.
