MSNBC Crowd Boos 9-Year-Old Girl For Supporting Mitt Romney

It's understood and accepted that emotions will run high with a presidential election two weeks away ... but booing a nine-year-old girl over her choice of candidate?

Yup, that happened. Keep it classy, MSNBC fans:

During Tuesday's “What have we learned today?” segment on Morning Joe, show co-host Mika Brzezinski introduced viewers to 9-year-old Annabelle.

Asked which man she's supporting in the 2012 election, Annabelle said Mitt Romney, and her response was instantly met with a chorus of boos from the crowd.

“Booing a 9-year-old girl, a lot of these people must have come down from Philly or something," said Time's Joe Klein. “Santa Claus is next,” Scarborough added.

Mika was nice to comfort the little girl, as well ... but come on people. It's just politics, and she's just NINE YEARS OLD. Time to chill ... or at least save it for the comments below.
