Snoop Dogg: Yo, I'll Judge American Idol!

Snoop Dogg wants us to now call him Snoop Lion. But might we soon be calling him an American Idol judge instead?

Okay, definitely not.

But the rapper did say in an interview today that he'd be up for taking a spot on the Season 12 panel, causing us to at least fantasize over just how hilarious such a scenario would be.

With Mariah Carey on board, and names such as Brad Paisley, Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams being bantered about, we can't say we're overly excited for Idol's return in 2013.

But if Snoop were in the mix?!? Come on. Who would not tune in?!?

    I’d watch Snoop Dogg on American Idol. That would be worth watching when my favorite primetime show’s playing. I think he would come out with some crazy things and he’s been doing this a long time. He has a lot of knowledge and guidance he could provide to contestants following their dreams. AI’s one of my favorite shows during primetime and I don’t like when it goes to commercials. This is why I’m excited the Hopper lets you skip commercials with the Auto Hop feature. I don’t have to manually fast forward through all those annoying commercials when I watch my PrimeTime Anytime recordings. One of my coworkers at Dish showed me how the Auto Hop works and it’s my new favorite feature. This will save some wear and tear on my remote with all the fast forwarding I do.
