Lindsay Lohan as Liz Taylor: First Promo Pic!
by Free Britney at .Lindsay Lohan really does look the part of Elizabeth Taylor. Whether she can act is another story, but there's something about her that just exudes Liz.
Monday, we brought you a behind-the-scenes pic of Lindsay as Elizabeth Taylor on the set of her new Lifetime biopic, Liz & Dick, which started filming.
Today? Lifetime has done us one better. The network's first official promo pic has hit the Internet - co-starring True Blood's Grant Bowler. Take a look:
According to a Lifetime source, the photo was shot last week at Lifetime studios and they went with black and white to portray the couple in a "classic" look.
Safe to say they succeeded, no?
Producer Larry Thompson said their chemistry "exploded" in early screen tests, which you can sort of see in the first shot of Bowler as Richard Burton.
There will be "as much sex as Lifetime will allow" between the pair, whose 18-year age difference mirrors that of Liz and Dick, who were married (twice).
Incidentally, the very first scenes were shot Monday morning starting around 9:30 a.m., featuring Liz and Dick on a yacht (docked at Marina del Rey).

Lilo does look at alot like Liz Taylor. When La Taylor was 80, sick and near death. So stop bickering, everyone!
If the Above is the actor playing the part of Elizabeth, she looks more like her in this pic. Perhaps a B&W TV movie would be better as we all await the real Epic on the big screen with another actor who can pass as Elizabeth however; this gal might do an excellent acting job that leads to other roles to get her back in films since she went down due to health problems.
Hey do your thing Lohan. Just don't fu*k it up! Make Liz proud.
Okay here we go again! The movie isn't even in the can yet and already the thing to do is knock Lindsay! The line in this article: "Whether she can act is another story, but there's something about her that just exudes Liz." is just the worst and by that I mean just empty words of stupidity. Like LIZ she grew up acting, and even Richard Burton never considered LIZ a great actress! I think LIZ would have loved the fact that someone so like herself was playing her in a story that defines the love of both Burton and Taylor's lives.
I don't see a Joan Crawford resemblance at all. She actually resembles Taylor quite well there. I can't say the same for the color stills I have seen, which is a testament to the "trickery" used in photos to make that above one more passable.
