Vanessa Williams vs. Toddlers & Tiaras: Choose a Side!

It is on between Vanessa Williams and one of the moms involved with Toddlers & Tiaras.

During an appearance this week with Anderson Cooper on his talk show, the actress said of the aforementioned series:

"When the child is screaming and saying, ‘I don’t want to do this. I don’t feel like doing it.’ When they are using special juice to get them hyped... that’s not my world and I would never have my kids do that.”

Cue a reaction from Wendy Dickey, the mother of Paisley, a controversial member of the Toddlers & Tiaras cast who has dressed like a hooker and like a biker girl for segments on the show.

"Posing nude and having an abortion is 'not my world' and I would never have my kids do that," Wendy said, referring to Vanessa's Playboy past and her recent admission that she aborted a fetus in high school. "So easy on the judging Vanessa!"

The claws are out and it's getting personal on both sides. Which are you on?

    i'm certainly hard put to think of a more offensive show or one that better signals the end of civilization as we know it... to me, "age of consent" should include consenting to this sort of shameless exploitation by parents who are only thinking of their own egos at the expense of their kids' well-being... it's really pretty nauseating...

    Not for nothing, I agree with Vanessa, but why are we hearing so much from her now, that her show is being canceled. As I recall she wasnt proud of posing in those penthouse pictures, she did it as a defiant act towards he parents. Also claimed that she did it for money, even though she lived in a upscale neighborhood in NY with teachers for parents. Also claimed she was molested, but still had an abortion, posed in sexual poses with women, and had to resign her crown. So please Vanessa kind of tone it down. You will get another job, easy on the publicity for book sales

    Why are all the mothers these ugly overweight domineering bitches they have to be living through their children And be damn the consequences to the life of their child just another Michael Jackson story all over again.

    I watched the show one time and that was enough for me. How are you going to let a 4 year old tell you to, "shut up and get out of my room." Some are those children are so disrespectful and I feel sorry for any teacher or any adult that will have to deal with them in the future.
