Jessica Simpson Elle Cover: Too Hot For Safeway!

Apparently Jessica Simpson's naked, pregnant body on the cover of April's Elle magazine has not been well received by those at Safeway supermarkets.

The attention-grabbing photo of Jessica Simpson nude has been covered up with pieces of cardboard and/or turned around, the Arizona Daily Star reports.

A spokeswoman for the grocery chain said it made the move to censor the cover following "multiple complaints" about the Fashion Star mentor's photo.

Simpson said in an interview that that Demi Moore and Britney Spears-like fully nude, pregnant cover pic was all her idea. Well, and their idea. But in this case:

"They didn't even ask me to do that," she said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show. "It was my idea. It kind of just seemed a natural thing for me to do."

"I'm like 170 pounds and I wanted to pose nude," she explained.

"I try to be like 110. It's funny to be at your heaviest and feel the most confident. I just take such pride in being a mom! I just love my body more than ever now."

    I think it's beautiful. I was pregnant 4 times and gained more weight than that. There is nothing wrong with that pic. It's just a mother who is proud of who she is.

    Just leave the girl alone. Let her enjoy the simple and beautiful experiences of maternal pleasure. It's so refreshing to see someone so much in the public eye ballsw so happy and comfortable in their own skin.

    IF YOU'RE PREGNANT, KEEP YOUR CLOTHES ON, UNLESS YOUR IN THE SHOWER, OR SEEING THE DOCTOR. A HUGH STOMACH IS NOT BEAUTIFUL, WHETHER YOU'RE AN OBESE PIG, WHO CAN'T STOP EATING, OR A PREGNANT WOMAN.

    Ugh grow up! All the "important " stuff was covered! It just proves if you dont weigh 95lbs, no body wants to see you naked. Half naked woman are on alot of mag covers and no one cares, but because shes preg, its a prob? What crap. She looks beautiful and she should be proud!
