George Zimmerman Police Video: No Signs of Injury, Blood After Trayvon Martin Shooting

Police surveillance video footage of George Zimmerman hours after he shot Trayvon Martin does not appear to show any injuries or bloodstains on the man who claims he killed the Florida teen in self defense February 26.

His attorney says the video is too grainy to be revealing, however.

The footage, obtained by ABC News late Wednesday, shows the handcuffed Zimmerman getting out of the police car, unaided, and walking into the police station where he was escorted after the shooting in Sanford, Fla. Watch:

In the police tape, taken about four hours after the deadly incident, there are no visible signs of injuries to Zimmerman's head or blood on his clothes.

However, he is wearing a red jacket, which could obscure a lot.

Zimmerman's attorney Craig Sonner described the video as "very grainy" on NBC's Today, noting that Zimmerman had been "cleaned-up" and received first aid care in the hours between the incident and his arrival at the police station.

Sonner previously said that his client suffered a broken nose and a gash to his head during the altercation in which he says Zimmerman feared for his life.

Appearing on CNN Wednesday, Martin family lawyer Benjamin Crump called the video “the smoking gun,” proving the self-defense allegation is not true.

“I think the video speaks for itself. You don’t see any broken nose. You don’t see any blood on his head. You don’t see any stuff on the back of his clothes."

"You have to ask why did this police chief, state attorney and now this acting police chief conspire to protect George Zimmerman for killing this unarmed teenager?"

A neighborhood watch volunteer, Zimmerman was released without being charged. The Trayvon Martin case has since become a national obsession.

Richard Kurtz, the funeral director who prepared Martin's body, was asked if there were any signs on his hands that the victim had punched someone.

"The only thing that I was able to see was the gunshot wound," Kurtz told MSNBC. "I could not see evidence like he had been punching somebody."

"It just did not add up to me."

The self-defense claim clearly deserves scrutiny, but whether this is sufficient proof that there was no struggle is something investigators must determine.

What Zimmermans father and brother have to say is moot. Hear say ,they were not there as witnesses.Thier testimonies are inadmissable.Zimmerman is very confident of being found not guilty during his jail house phone calls, and tries to speak in code and whiperly.

Zimmerman is switching the story around about the comments of "you're going to die tionight" and the other threatening statments, they are what Zimmerman stated to Trayvon ,not the other way around. He has lied costatntly and if you listen to the 911 call you can hear Zimmerman still hustling after Trayvonwith panting breaths, even after the police tell him not too,Zimmerman says, ok,yet he still persues and tells the police to call him when they get there so he can tell them where he is, ( because he is still following Trayvon) Zimmerman also stated these guys always get away, and, he's running.

Here is one witness which claims Zimmerman called out to him, for help, while being beaten by Trayvon: But I think they need to investigate Zimmermans' broken nose and split head -- undocumented aliens, or space aliens, might have done that and Zimmerman is just saying it was Trayvon!

Texas aka Texasprincess aka Emaraldcityshitter aka Etownbabe aka Ballz: Break time is over! Now come back and dance for me some more my little puppet. I dont want to have to remind you again whosyadaddy!!

@Greg I beg to differ with ya...but I see Julie as the cyber troll! Nasty woman! I couldn't believe her!

zimmerman is an american hero

@Leo- hmmmmmmmmmm .... Close... But no cigar. You see.... This change in a " Politically Correct" Label has now found its way to the "Stand your ground Law". Not so sure the definition of " Stand your ground" was at the entrance to the original " THEY" statement. Me? It's deeper- and you know that. You are brushing up against the truth yet not ready to embrace it. Zimmerman pulled the trigger- Not the Law and not they! Keep digging.

I believe that when Trayvon's mother refer to "They killed my son", I believe that as a mother, she is Not in denial that Not only did Zimmerman pull that trigger, but she has the frame of mind to realize that proper procedures were Not followed. I can easily believe that when Ms. Fulton want to momentarily get away from this madness, but she can Not. Her son's death has become a symbol of Nationwide attention to The Sanford Police shady procedures and operations within the department. Whether Trayvon was 17 or 12, he could have been one of our sons. Trayvon was Not killed by a drive by, or killed in an accident, he was shot dead by an over zealous gun carrying Neighborhood "Volunteer" who was Not required to carry a gun. When Ms. Fulton says "They killed my son" she is referring to the broken down system that is giving Trayvon's killer enough time to stay hidden long enough to walk free. Signing off. PEACE!!

It is Now my understanding that Zimmerman is surrounded by 3 police officers. He exited the car without help, and does Not seem to be in distress considering that he alleges to have been in a fight where his life was threatened. It is amazing how he is in the company of 3 officers, but yet 2 of the officers would walk in front of him, while the other officer walked around motorcycles and Zimmerman having the freedom of entering the station without being in the grasps of an officer. Even though he was handcuffed, he was allowed to walk into that station of his own free will. He was Never fingerprinted, Not even a mugshot, and to top it all, he was able to walk out of the police station with the murder weapon in his possession. That gun should have been confiscated, bagged and tagged for evident because it had just been fired to kill someone!!

Do u need an invite? An escort? Or can you walk it alone? You can't do anything alone can you? not even think on your own?
