Miranda Lambert SLAMS Chris Brown in Concert
by Free Britney at .Miranda Lambert was an outspoken critic of last Sunday's Chris Brown Grammy lovefest, ripping CBS and the music extravaganza for Brown's prominent role.
She's still not over it, calling out the R&B star in concert this week.
Country star Lambert wondered aloud on Twitter why the convicted felon was featured on not one but two performances during the Grammy Awards.
"Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl," Miranda tweeted, adding "He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place."
"Gunpowder and Lead" is her song about a woman preparing to kill her abusive husband. She performed it in concert Thursday - with a message for Brown.
Before singing, Lambert pulled a poster out of the audience reading "Take Notes Chris Brown." "Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter," she said.
"I’ve been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans ... but see, I have to speak my mind because where I come from beating up on a woman is never okay.”
As she sang, Lambert added "So that's why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun." The Amherst, Mass., crowd went wild:
Brown has come under heavy criticism for his response to the "haters" as much as for the infamous 2009 incident in what has become a never-ending story.
Should people just get over it and move on? Or is Miranda right in standing up against abusive men, and the Grammys? Choose a side in this feud:

Who the hell cares they're all doing they're jobs as entertainers so Chris & Miranda thanks :) This has been quite entertaining.
Well ms billie, if you feel he shouldn't haven't performed because of what he has done, then in that case the list would have been very small of who was aloud to perform. Miranda wouldn't be able to since she sleeps with married men, and SEVERAL other artist would not be able to because of past arrest, past mistakes, etc. We didn't complain when michael jackson or whitney houston were still here and did major performances even though he was accused of molesting and she did drugs. No, hitting a woman is not right, nor is a woman hitting a man. It is just funny to me how a woman can hit a man and they don't make it nearly as big of a deal as when a man hits a woman. Neither is right.
I'm not a fan of any of them and never will be. However; I am totally against domestic violence and will never condone anyone that is or has done it. Being the victim of an abusive marriage I totally agree with Miranda he needs to take notice. If a man hits a woman once he'll do it again and continue doing it unless someone puts a stop to it. I also agree that he shouldn't have been allowed to preform at the Grammys there were other people that would have been better and much more deserving of it. Some of the comments on here are calling people ignorant for agreeing with Miranda they wouldn't be saying that if it had been them or a love one on the receiving end of abuse. I was always taught if you don't like the situation then walk away no one needs to be putting their hands on anyone else. As for Chris Brown he's an abusive jerk and always will be one. And one more things being accused of something isn't no where near getting convicted of the crime dumbass.
Never heard of Miranda Lambert before. LOL! I thought she was a talk show host or something. I only know her name because she said something about Chris Brown.
Ha Miranda is a huge country star. I love these comments that state she's not.obviously comments from ignorant people. I believe Miranda was trying to make a point that abuse is not okay. And yeah forgiveness is great but maybe he shouldn't have the privilege to perform at special events. Its a shame what society lets others get away with...especially "stars". Good for you Miranda for standing up for something you believe in. - love another etx girl
