Drew Brees Sets NFL Single-Season Passing Record (VIDEO)
Drew Brees threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Darren Sproles with a little over two minutes to go last night, giving him 5,087 yards through the air this season.
That was good enough to break Dan Marino's single-season NFL record 5,084, which stood for 27 years, and amazingly, the New Orleans Saints star still has one more game left next week, with playoff implications - so bank on a few hundred more.
The Saints cruised to a 45-16 win over the Atlanta Falcons, improving to 12-3.
